I'm being *incredibly* generous on the numbers on your side of this equation, btw. Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM is still running. Many millions more, in fact.įrom 2001 to mid-2006, Apple sold about 18 million PPC Macs total (none of the figures I'm using include iPods or iPhones of any type - just Macintosh computers).
In point of fact, there are more Intel Macs in service now than PPC machines by a wide margin.
